This is my aritst statement.

When I make art on my own, it often has to do with the immediate situation I am in. I like to use a lot of color - oil pastels and water color are a couple of my favorite mediums, but I have never used oil paint and I feel like once I do I will probably really like it. And I guess acrylic is nice but I don't like the way it smells. (Apperently oil doesn't smell very good eithetr but??? We will see.) I also like to hardly use any ccolor at all. If i say a peice of artwork "turned out really well", it means that I am proud of it. Most of my artwork does not "turn out really well". I create art because I like the translation of vision to product. It is pleasing to Make Things. The veiwer doesn't ever have to "get" anything out of my artwork. If they pull some meaning out of it, that's cool, there is probably some meaning in all of my art but it is never anything I am trying to force across.

That's it.

The end.
